Zaterdag, het zonnetje warmt met haar stralen het mooie Tenerife op, de ideale dag voor de markt in El Medano. <\/p>\n

Alhoewel je ook de bus kan nemen (rit van 8minuten) besluiten wij er een wandeling langs het strand van te maken.<\/p>\n

Wanneer je ons appartement buitenkomt en de straat oversteekt kan je, naast het winkelcentrum, een pad langs het strand volgen dat je tot in El Medano brengt.<\/p>\n

Na een 30-tal minuten duiken de gebouwen van de stad al op en een 40-tal minuten later kunnen we ons, in een klein restaurantje aan het strand, te goed doen aan een lekker ontbijt.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Het marktje zelf in El Medano is niet echt groot maar de sfeer is er gezellig en de verschillende kraampjes met handwerkjes zijn altijd eens leuk om te zien.<\/p>\n

Om 12 uur besluiten we een maaltijd te halen in het vegetarisch restaurantje El Med Veg.<\/p>\n

Hier werken ze met dagverse producten en alles veganistisch, een echte aanrader om eens nieuwe smaken te leren kennen;<\/p>\n

Het restaurantje zelf telt echter maar 2 tafeltjes en beschikt niet over een terras dus besluiten we de maaltijd mee te nemen en, aan de zee, op een bankje te nuttigen.<\/p>\n

Wat kan een mens zich nog meer wensen dan een heerlijke maaltijd, een warm zonnetje, de zeewind die in je haren blaast en een uitzicht op de vele surfers die de zee de vele kleuren van de regenboog geven?<\/p>\n

Met een goed gevulde maag keren we op onze stappen terug om in het shoppingcenter de mening te delen dat we nu echt wel een ijsje verdiend hebben.<\/p>\n
